Fred Goebert, President
Throughout his 11 year real estate career, Fred Goebert has been engaged in all aspects of commercial real estate. Under Mr. Goebert’s leadership, RedGo Development has grown to a multi-faceted, regional real estate company with expertise in development, investment, property management and asset management. Mr. Goebert directs the company’s acquisitions, asset management, and private investor relations.
Mr. Goebert holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami and has continued his education through real estate coursework at New York University, the University of Chicago and Harvard University.
Mr. Goebert is a licensed real estate broker in Pennsylvania and has served on the local Board of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties. He also serves on the advisory board of Gulph Creek Hotels and is a member of the Chester County Economic Development Council.
Jim Reading, Senior Vice President
For almost 40 years, Jim Reading has been involved in commercial real estate. Under Mr. Reading’s leadership, Redgo Development has expanded into a leader in real estate development and redevelopment, design and construction innovation.
Mr. Reading oversees the company’s leasing, construction and development operations. He has directed the approval, operations and construction of over two million square feet of office and industrial properties and over 400 residential units.
Prior to joining RedGo in 1984, Mr. Reading was a project manager and estimator with Devault Contracting Company. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction and Engineering from Spring Garden College in 1971 and is a licensed realtor in Pennsylvania.
He serves as President of the Schuylkill Township Planning Commission and is a board member of several organizations including Phoenixville Community Health Foundation, Chester County Economic Development Council, Phoenixville Area Economic Development Corporation and Phoenixville Federal Bank & Trust.
Ken McDowell, Vice President
Mr. McDowell has responsibility for the acquisition division of the firm. His duties include financial analysis, acquisition underwriting and due diligence, and investor relations. He also participates in the asset management functions of the firm; undertaking hold/sale analyses, assists in the refinancing of debt, and dispositions.
Mr. McDowell has over 16 years of experience in commercial real estate, which includes acquisitions, asset management, and dispositions. Prior to joining RedGo, Mr. McDowell worked for various companies in the banking and private real estate fields. Most notably, he was a Senior Investment Analyst with the Ohio Public Employees’ Retirement System (“OPERS”), where he was responsible for acquisition and asset management services of approximately $1.6 billion of OPERS’ commingled fund, and directly held commercial and multifamily real estate investments.
Mr. McDowell earned a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Political Science from the Ohio State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Ohio and is a member of the AICPA.
